How To Make Black Beans Recipe?

  1. Soak the Beans: Place the beans in a large bowl or pot, cover with cold water, and let soak overnight. Drain and rinse before using. Shortcut: Place beans in a pot, cover with hot water, bring to a boil, and let boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 1 hour. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Cook the Beans: In a medium pot, combine the soaked beans, chicken broth, 475ml / 2 cups water, garlic, onion, and diced bell peppers. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 ½ hours.
